English | For Law Students
The present book on 'English' revised edition scrupulously follows the syllabus laid down for this paper. It is divided, as is the paper, into three broad parts.
The first and second parts deal with the lessons as prescribed in the syllabus and the third part is taken up with legal terms and grammar and embodied with such useful topics as Articles, Direct and Indirect Narration, Analysis, Active and Passive Voice, Pairs of words, Punctuation, Common Errors, etc.
The book sincerely follows the syllabus of this paper and the author is as susceptible as a seismograph to the needs of the Pre-Law students of First year.
The book on English Grammar with test thus comes as a precious gift to those who would utilise their Pre-Law First Year days to lay the foundation of a solid scholastic career.
It is hoped that the book will meet the needs of the Pre-Law students of the subject and the aim with which it has been presented.
