Law of TAXATION

Among the twin authors of this book Prof. Dr. V.L.Mony is presently working as the Professor and Dean of School of Law, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Law (Deemed to be University) at Chennai and Dr.Jaya Jacob M is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce, St.Thomas College, Kozhencherry, a college affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University. These two eminent academicians have written this book titling Law of TAXATION covering five chapters wherein they have dealt several important aspects of Taxation.

The book starts from History of Income Tax & Basic Concepts and then explains Taxation and the Constitution, Direct Tax Dominion, Set off and Carry Forwards, Appeals and Other Procedure, Indirect Tax Regime. Thus it is very useful text book for graduate and post graduate studies in Indian Universities for Law and Commerce.

The authors view that this book will be of use for the academic community for their reference and understanding of the subject. The objective of the book was to convey the subject in a simple and lucid style.
